About Robin Bailey
Since 1998, Robin Bailey has worked to grow a
traditional answering service into a full-service tele-service solutions
firm. With a
bachelor’s degree in accounting from the
University of Alabama at
Birmingham, she earned her CPA in 1982. She was a
partner in a CPA firm and went on to be a Controller in a Fortune 100
company.
Presented with the opportunity to apply her years of
business training and experience to a family business that was in the
midst of a technology tidal wave, she accepted the challenge and became
the company’s president—expanding services and growing the company from
12 employees to the 2008 level of 26 employees.
Since 1998, Robin has served in various leadership
positions with The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and the Women in
Business Council. She is a
member of BNI (Business Networking International), Medical Group
Manager’s Association, Association of Teleservices International (ATSI),
CAM-X, the Southern Telemessaging Association (STA), and the National
Amtelco Equipment Owners (NAEO) group. She is presently on the Board of
NAEO and was elected Secretary/Treasurer.
Robin is the recipient of the Chamber’s
Distinguished Service and Leadership Service awards. She received the
President’s Award for NAEO at the 2008 annual conference.
Under her management, the
company also received Awards of Excellence from ATSI (’02, ’05, ’06) and
CAM-X (’06, ’07).
With 17 grandchildren, Robin claims the future of
TLC is secure.
